Monday Resolution

This week, I have a simple resolution: bubble baths.  There's nothing like soaking in a tub of lavender bath salt with a good book and a glass of wine to put the mind and body right.  However, with a baby and a husband to tend to, my favorite hobby of soaking in my tub has taken a back seat.  So, for my Monday resolution I vow to take a bubble bath every week.  I know it sounds a bit silly, but we all need a little space that gives us peace, and for me, that's a bubble bath.  I don't need hours of soak time, just a good 15 minutes is perfect, and its a small enough amount of time that I can easily carve it out for myself once a week.

I decided to end/start my week with a bubble bath on Sunday night.  It helps me relax and guarantees a good sleep so I can start the week feeling refreshed.  I did it yesterday, and seriously, it was the best thing ever!  I made sure to run my bath before I put Miles to bed, so I couldn't make an excuse and skip my bath.  The great thing about that method is that once I finally put my son to bed, I'm usually exhausted, so a bubble bath is actually the perfect place to escape to.  I'm looking forward to my next bubble bath on Sunday.  Awwww, the little things....
