Nothing like a run to clear out cob webs. In my neighborhood there is this amazing park - The Washington Park Arboretum - and last year they added/re-did the running/biking trails. I’ve been meaning to try it out, but can never quite find the time. However, as you may have noticed from my other posts, I’ve recently realized that me not finding time had a lot to do with not using my time wisely and creating the energetic space to try new things.
So, today after doing yard work, I was still feeling a little agitated about that decision I made yesterday. So I decided to go for a run to clear my head. You know, do something productive! And man, was it the right call. The weather right now in the Pacific Northwest is amazing. The fall leaves are scattering their colors all over the place, the sun was out, the sky was clear. It was just too too perfect. So I left my rake behind and jogged to our Arbortetum and through the trails, inhaling the colors and fresh air, people walking, jogging, biking. Kids laughing. It was really really beautiful. So maybe everything in my world wasn’t fabulous right then and there, but I found a really perfect moment and held onto that - and that feeling the rest of the day! #sogood
