Fall Travel Fashion
I think I've finally perfected my favorite Fall Travel Outfit:
Long black cotton dress - The length keeps your legs warm during travel. The black color hides dirt or other unpleasantries, it's slimming, and can pass for simple elegance with the right accessories. The cotton material guarantees comfort. Rugged boots - I happen to really love the idea of pairing a feminine item with something a bit rough around the edges. My go to item are my black (or at least the we're at one time) Fiorintini & Baker boots. They're comfortable but interesting enough so that it doesn't look like you're trying to be comfortable (i hate feeling like a fashion slug just because I didn't feel like pinching my toes in 6 inch Louboutins). Think rocker and hobo chic icons like Gwen Stefani, Sienna Miller, or Kate Moss .
Leather Jacket - First, a leather jacket is a Fall fashion essential. Second, leather jackets are sexy and versaile. I will literally wear a leather jacket with every price of clothing in my closet. I can't think of a single outfit that wouldn't look hit it at least interesting with a leather jacket thrown ontop.
After we missed our flight and the airline lost out luggage I discovered how much i actually love this travel look! My feet and body were comfortable so I could easily wait in the long immigration line and run from terminal to terminal without worrying about aching feet. Then when we finally arrived in London, my outfit was more than satisfactory to stroll through Kensington and Chelsea and do a bit of shopping pin Regent Street. As of right now, there's still no word on our lost luggage, so I just might be wearing this outfit all week, which I'm perfectly okay with. So, ladies, the moral of the story is that your any travel outfit should be comfortable, chic, and something you wouldn't mind being stuck in for a week.
